Cadet Travel
Made in the image of God, man exhibits God’s creativity, his unity and diversity—among other things.
A sinner, man also tarnishes God’s image. In Schaffer’s words, man is a “glorious ruin.”
Experiencing other people and places, cultures and customs is a good way to learn about God’s world, man in general and ourselves in particular.
Chamberlain-Hunt’s Cadre teach about art and architecture, current practices and historic events, language and literature on these trips.
They share their own experiences of life outside the US with Cadets through various trips during each year.
Recent trips have included overseas destinations (the Balkans, England, France, Italy and Peru) and US destinations
(DC and Northern Virginia, Orlando and bird shooting in Tunica, MS).
