ADVENTURE SUMMER SCHOOL
02 JUNE - 28 JUNE 2008

Chamberlain-Hunt Academy is pleased to offer its Adventure Summer School— a challenging month long academic, military and adventure experience— to rising seventh through twelfth graders.

STATEMENT OF BELIEF
Chamberlain-Hunt Academy’s mission is the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom in submission to God. We believe that the Triune God of the Bible is the sole source of all knowledge because he created and sustains all things. Therefore, we seek to submit ourselves to him in every facet of life. The education we offer, which is part of a life-long pursuit, grows out of our faith in him.

MILITARY
The Academy is proud of its century-long military tradition. Summer Cadets will experience the full benefit of this intensive program. Military discipline, dormitory inspections, physical training and a required uniform provide structure to the program and instill habits that will last long after the summer is over.

WEEKEND ADVENTURES
A variety of weekend experiences give Cadets a break from their studies. Cadets will enjoy camping and canoeing, attending a professional sporting event, and making use of our own 70-acre Wilderness facilities adjoining the main campus. The Wilderness facilities include a rifle range, ropes course, confidence course, obstacle course, paintball arena and 4.5 acre lake.

ACADEMICS
The main purpose of Adventure Summer School is to provide students with the opportunity to further their education. For some it is a chance to get special attention in a subject in which they have struggled. For others it is an opportunity to get ahead. Each weekday, they will attend class for five hours and be required to attend a supervised study hall. For rising seventh and eighth graders, we offer:
